Hiking, 30 km – Kuhankuono 10-11.7.2024
I really needed this hike. For some reason, I haven't gone hiking in many years. Kids, company, work… the reasons are many, but none of them are real. The biggest reason is that I had too much weight on me, both mentally and physically. After dropping some significant weight, my steps are lighter, my mood is better, and I don't have much pain in my joints. I feel lighter. More alive.
Kuhankuono is our local national park. There are multiple hiking trails, and I selected one that would take multiple days to walk.
I chose to sleep in a tent near a small pond. It was just me and a few swans. Perfect.
And there were cloudberries!
The second day was a bit shorter, but a nice hike nonetheless.
